    Awesome Cups !!

    Have bought a few of these cups from twiice and never disappointed. These are delicious and hold up really well with hot coffees. These GF strawberry ones are fantastic as well 😊

    Very yum, and really does work!

    I wanted to try these out, and they work even better than advertised, I think. For coffee (we do lattes/flat whites mostly), they work exactly as you'd hope. My daughter got a fluffy (she wanted to try a biscuit cup) before school, she didn't finish the fluffy of course and we went to school, that afternoon when we finally got back, we found the remains of the fluffy, nicely kept inside after ~6 hours! Very impressive!

    Considerations for those not sure what to expect

    1. for these to work the cup has to be very dense, and dry. they aren't meant to be a sweet biscuit, first and foremost they are an edible cup. They _need_ the drink to make them pleasant.

    2. careful eating them before you finish your drink; it can be done (like you would an ice cream code) but the breaks might split down the cup, rather that "around" it, so it takes some care to eat it during the drink, this is however the most pleasant way of eating the cup due to point 1.

    3. this is aimed at those who are currently using disposable cups, at home we wash our regular cups and so these are more of a novelty, however, if I ever come across a business using disposable cups, I will heartily recommend they get these instead. They are obviously not as expensive but I would pay for these over disposable cups if I was out and about

How long will the cup last with my hot drink?

At least as long as it will take to drink your coffee, and several hours after that! You won't need to worry about it leaking.

What do they taste like?

We think they taste like a vanilla biscuit (wine biscuit) but other people have told us they also think it tastes like a fortune cookie or a waffle cone.

Will the cup taint the flavour of my coffee?

For the coffee connoisseurs out there, the cup has a vanilla flavour. Vanilla is the most versatile flavour to compliment your choice of hot drink or dessert.

How long do the cups stay fresh?

The compostable bags aren't completely airtight (they wouldn't compost if they were). So when you receive your cups, we recommend storing them sealed in an airtight container to prolong their life. After opening the individual bag, treat the cup as you would a normal biscuit - the sooner you eat it, the fresher it will be.

What is your packaging made from?

Our bags aren't plastic - they are a wood pulp alternative and are 100% home compostable! (Certified to meet International Compost Standards). We know a lot of commercially compostable waste never sees a compost bin and just ends up in landfill, so it's important to us that our packaging is home compostable. The cardboard boxes that the cups are shipped in are also home compostable and designed and made here in New Zealand. Just remove the labels, and you're good to go.

Are they plant-based / vegan?

Yes, all twiice cups are plant-based.

Are they gluten free?

Our standard range of cups is not gluten free but we are working on one.

Will you bring out any more flavours?

We sure will! We have recently released the chocolate and have other flavours in the works.
